I’m one of the founders and partners of Social Ink, a web and graphic design firm based in Brooklyn, NY. I’ll quote from our site, but you should really check us out if you’re looking for good affordable web design work:

Social Ink is a progressive Brooklyn-based web design and development studio. We specialize in intuitive user interfaces (UI/UX) and robust futureproof code.  We direct our services towards nonprofits, foundations, community groups, educators, creative entrepreneurs and businesses large and small.

I also have a PhD from the amazing folks at the CUNY Graduate Center’s anthropology department. My research is about intellectual property, piracy and Brazil (specifically Rio de Janeiro). My work is on piracy on multiple scales, from street sellers, or camelôs, to the Brazilian government and onto the world wide interwebs as a way people negotiate with 21st century social structures. If you have any juicy research for me or want to ask me any questions, please email me using the contact form.

I have previously taught at Hunter College at the City University of New York. Courses I’ve taught or are teaching are Anthropology 101, Anthropology of Music & Exchange, and Anthropology of Witchcraft, Magic & Science. Please visit the syllabus page to see what up.
